The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out here to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at here Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service stage designed for here intervention activities a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
